How does pricing work?
Because each order is custom tailored to fit your event, pricing largely depends on the design you choose along with the number of servings you need and the flavor(s) you'd like. The easiest way to get pricing is by talking to me personally or sending me a text or e-mail with these details. Sending inspiration photos is a big help in getting an idea of what you're looking for. Fondant covered cakes are more expensive than buttercream iced cakes. So are cake designs with handcrafted items such as characters, flowers, etc.
How far in advance should I place an order?
For wedding cake orders I recommend four to eight months notice. May through October are popular months for wedding orders. For all other cakes I recommend at least three to four weeks notice. Occasionally there may be a last minute opening however, so please don't hesitate to call me and ask.
Do you deliver?
I do offer delivery on any order for an additional charge. The additional amount depends on the distance and location you need the order delivered to and if any setup on site is required. Delivery is highly recommended for all wedding orders and larger multiple tier cake orders.
Do you require a deposit and how do payments work?
A $50 deposit is required to reserve a date for a cake order. The $50 goes toward the final amount of the order. It is not additional.
Two weeks out from the order due date half the total amount is required. If you place an order two weeks out or less from the due date this is required right away. This charge is not refundable under two weeks.

The final amount is not required until the day the cake is due and you are able to see the final product and are pleased with it. However, for wedding cakes it is highly encouraged to make this final payment beforehand as the wedding day is usually quite hectic.
Do you offer cake tastings?
Cake tasting consultations are offered for all wedding cake orders. The cost is $25 however if you decide to book with us the $25 goes toward the cost of the order total. Up to four different flavors can be selected from the menu to try. Any additional samples are $3.00 a piece per person. Please contact me by phone or e-mail to schedule a consultation as select dates are available each month for cake tastings.
Do you supply cake stands?
Cake stands are available to rent for $25 and must be returned no later than a week after the event date.
Where are you located?
Cakes by Becca is a home based business located in Taylors South Carolina right on the boarder of Greenville South Carolina. It is not a storefront shop. It is a made-to-order business where orders can be picked up or delivered.
