REBECCA REESE - PASTRY CHEF, HOME BAKER, CAKE ENTHUSIAST
Cooking and baking have always been hobbies of mine for as long as I can remember. My dad started me off in the kitchen at a young age, and while it was probably just a genius idea of his to make good use of his first born daughter, I am so very thankful that he did. Through it I found not only my passion but now my career. I love being able to create beautiful and elegant works of art out of food. Though it gets tedious at times and requires a LOT of patience and hard work, the finished product is always worth it when it lights up the room and brings smiles to the faces of those that see it. Those smiles and the encouragement of friends and family that knew my creative talents and abilities were what prompted me to start Cakes by Becca. I love being able to create the cake a bride has been dreaming of or surprising a child with a birthday cake of his or her favorite character. That joy is truly rewarding and keeps me doing what I love to this day.
